Neill McClintock started McKinlays on 1st January 1994 at No 6 The George Shopping Centre, Crewkerne.
He started as a one man band having come from a background of Partnership and then working for a Corporate Estate Agent. This experience brought about his understanding that clients like to deal with a firm of substance whilst at the same time they like to deal with a senior person within that firm.
Whilst self employment is not for everybody there are numbers of employed Agents and Surveyors who would love to have their own businesses and benefit from their own hard work and business development rather than spend the rest of time seeing the fruits of their hard work end up in the pockets of employers.
The concept of McKinlays was the logical progression – self empoloyment but trading under a common name.
McKinlays is a collection of individually owned businesses trading under the name of McKinlays and sharing in the advantages offered by the concept of strength in numbers. At the same time as most offices are run by the owner, clients have instant access to the boss at all times.
Dealing with an owner of the business is important as the committment to the task in hand is at the maximum. McKinlays Owners are always readily available and aim to provide the best service they can at all times.
